On 7-6-20 at approximately 8:20pm Delta County Marine Patrol were dispatched to St. Martin Island for two subjects stranded on the island.
The two subjects attempted to avoid the incoming storm before sheltering on the northeast side of the island. In doing so the boat became disabled and began to take on water.
A 34 year old Powers man & his 12 year old nephew were located by Marine Patrol.
Both subjects were cold, wet, but safe! Two subjects were transported back to Escanaba Yacht Harbor.
