Someone damaged the playgrounds and beach area in the western Marquette County community of Republic Township.
The Marquette County Sheriff says the damage happened sometime between midnight and 2 a.m. last Friday as at least one vehicle tore up the grounds of a three-to-dour acre area.
The damage is estimated at between one and three thousand dollars.
Deputies say they have identified one vehicle and its owner, but they think another one or two may have also been involved. Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s department or use their new app.
