UPDATE 12/25/25: Manistique Public Safety has identified a person of interest in the Apple Barrel store robbery. Authorities are not releasing the name of the suspect. They thank the public for its tips, and praised all of the law enforcement officers for their dilligence. Officers say they do not need any more tips from the public.
ORIGINAL STORY: Someone ripped off the Apple Barrel store in Manistique Monday night.
Manistique Public Safety says a man came into the convenience store at about 7:30 Monday night, demanded cash from the employee, got the money, and ran away across Deer Street.
Police were on the scene in moments, but could not find the suspect. He’s described as being white, between 5-7 and 5-9, and between 225 and 260 pounds.
