After nearly 40 years in health care, Aurora Medical Center–Bay Area President Ed Harding will retire in April.
Harding joined Aurora Health Care in 2010 and has spent the past 15 years leading the Bay Area campus, making a lasting impact on patients, staff, and the community. His leadership is credited with major milestones, including the construction of a 135-million-dollar replacement hospital and medical office building.
Harding also played a key role in creating the 25-million-dollar Provident Health Foundation, aimed at improving health outcomes in Marinette and Menominee counties. As chair of the Wisconsin Hospital Association, he championed quality, safety, and access to care statewide.
When Harding retires, Thomas Miller, president of Aurora BayCare Medical Center, will take on the role of Bay Area president while continuing his duties in Green Bay.
