The Marinette County Executive Committee has recommended Kevin Solway as the county’s next administrator. The committee met for the second time in a week to determine the best path forward in filling the upcoming vacancy.
Members entered closed session to interview Solway, who currently serves as the county’s Technology Services Director. After returning to open session, the committee unanimously approved a motion recommending the County Board confirm Solway as County Administrator.
If approved, Solway would officially step into the role on March 19. The appointment is contingent upon a mutually agreed upon employment contract, which must still be approved by the Executive Committee. Final approval now heads to the full County Board for consideration.
