A movie about a movie.
The screening of a documentary about a classic film “Anatomy of a Murder” that was set in Marquette County will be held this weekend, and the screening is all to raise funds for a good cause.
Anatomy ’59 is a documentary about the classic Jimmy Stewart film, which also starred George C. Scott and Duke Ellington back in 1959.
Liana Pepin is the Vice President of “Forging Futures”, a new non profit seeking to replace playground equipment at the Wabash Street park in Ishpeming. Her husband produced the documentary.
The screening of Anatomy ’59 will take place Saturday night from 7 to 9pm at the Ishpeming High School auditorium. Suggested donation is $10, and again, the money goes to help the kids in the Ishpeming community
DVDs will also be for sale after the Saturday night screening, with a portion of the proceeds going towards the Wabash street playground.
