Weather Kid Wednesday
Come be our next Cat Country 95.1 Junior Meteorologist.
Weather Kid Wednesday is presented by Integra First Federal Credit Union. Each week, one local kid gets a real studio moment and records a short weather forecast with the Cat Country team.
Choose a recording time that works for your family:
- Tuesdays at 10:00 AM with Kit (please arrive by 9:50 AM)
- After school at 3:30 PM with Stephanie
Your child’s forecast airs Wednesdays at 7:15 AM on Cat Country 95.1 WLST. Plan for about 30 minutes in studio.
Know a kid who’d love to do radio?
If you have a child ages 7–13 who likes to talk, likes the weather, or just wants a turn behind a real mic, this is for them. We keep it quick, friendly, and low-pressure.
How it works
- Families register online
- Each week, one Weather Kid is selected
- They visit our Marinette office to record their forecast (Tuesday at 10:00 AM or after school at 3:30 PM)
- Kit airs the segment Wednesdays at 7:15 AM on Cat Country 95.1 WLST
- Each Weather Kid receives a Junior Meteorologist certificate to take home
