Mini Pitch Competition submissions are quickly approaching the deadline and we’re asking for help spreading the word to Upper Peninsula high school and college students. Students can learn more and apply at https://bit.ly/Peak26MiniPitch. The deadline to apply is Thursday, February 5, 2026.
High school and college students in the Upper Peninsula are invited to submit a video (3 minutes or less) showcasing their creative business or product idea for the chance to win a cash prize! There will be one high school winner ($500) and one college winner ($500)– totalling $1,000 in prizes.
The Mini Pitch was created for students to get the experience of a pitch competition (an event where individuals or teams present their ideas, products, or business concepts to a panel of judges for a chance to win prizes) without the pressure of presenting on stage.
The Mini Pitch is part of the upcoming Peak26 conference hosted by Innovate Marquette & SISU: The Innovation Institute at NMU. In partnership with NMU College of Business, Peak26 collaborators are hosting the Mini Pitch as part of the Ascent Series- a series of events leading up to Peak26. More conference details on Peak26 are to be announced soon.
