The Escanaba Public Safety Department on Friday warned of a scam where people are getting calls from someone claiming to be an employee of the Upper Peninsula Power Company. The caller demands payment immediately. Both the City of Escanaba and UPPCO have confirmed that this is a scam. Read more delow:
