Tri-County Safe Harbor regretfully announces the cancellation of its upcoming fundraising event, Flannel For A Cause, originally scheduled for April 25, 2026.
Despite strong community interest and support for the organization’s mission, ticket sales did not reach the minimum threshold for profitability for the advance headcount with the event catering provider. As a result, the difficult decision was made to cancel the event.
“We are incredibly grateful for the ongoing support from our community,” said Liz Reed, Tri-County Safe Harbor Executive Director. “While we are disappointed to cancel this event, we must be responsible stewards of our resources and ensure that our fundraising efforts remain sustainable and effective.”
Tri-County Safe Harbor is already pivoting its efforts toward its next major fundraiser — a golf outing scheduled for July 9, 2026, at Highland Golf Club. Additional details, including registration and sponsorship opportunities, will be announced soon.
As a nonprofit organization serving a three-county region, Tri-County Safe Harbor relies heavily on community support to provide critical, life-saving services to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. Financial contributions directly support emergency shelter, advocacy, counseling, and prevention programming.
Community members who wish to support the organization are encouraged to make a donation. Every contribution helps ensure that survivors have access to safety, resources, and hope.
