Veterans who are not enrolled in VA health care are encouraged to attend one of four local VA events to learn more about the benefits they’ve earned and get help enrolling in VA care.
Members of the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center outreach and enrollment team will travel to the Marquette area to help eligible Veterans enroll in VA health care.
More Veterans than ever before are eligible for VA care under the PACT Act, even those who were previously denied.
VA health care is less expensive than non-VA care and includes benefits like hearing aids and eyeglasses. Medication co-payments start at $8 and are capped at $33, with many Veterans paying no out-of-pocket costs.
Veterans should bring their DD214, proof of income from the previous year, date of marriage (if married), and the social security numbers and birth dates of any dependents.

The PACT Act is the biggest expansion of Veteran health care and benefits in generations, making it so the millions of Veterans– who breathed in debris from sandstorms, fumes from burning trash, chemicals like Agent Orange and more while overseas – are taken care of for the conditions that followed them home from war.
