As the Ludington Street reconstruction project continues, the City of Escanaba is planning to shut off the water in a portion of the downtown area on May 27.
That will be followed by a boil water advisory once the water is turned back on.
Escanaba Water Superintendent Jeff Lampi says there is no other way to replace the hydrants and main line valves in that area. Read below to see which areas are effected.
