As part of the ongoing construction and renovation project, MyMichigan Medical Center Sault will temporarily relocate its main entrance beginning Monday, October 19, 2026.
The change will allow construction crews to begin renovations to the main entrance while maintaining a safe distance between construction activities and patients, employees and visitors.
During construction, patients and visitors should use the entrance under the skywalk off Osborn Boulevard. The construction fence will expand into the existing turn-around and drop-off area. Directional signage will help guide patients and visitors to the temporary entrance, and team members will be available to assist as needed.
These temporary changes are part of the ongoing renovation project at MyMichigan Medical Center Sault, which will transform the downtown campus, improve access to care, and bring services closer to where patients and residents need them.
The project is designed to create a more convenient, accessible and welcoming care environment while enhancing the patient and resident experience and strengthening health care services for communities across the Eastern Upper Peninsula for years to come. The project includes three major areas of renovation and expansion: relocating the Behavioral Health Unit from Kincheloe to the Medical Center campus, expanding outpatient surgery services and remodeling the Long Term Care Unit.
