Six homeless people have been arrested in Marquette for allegedly breaking into a vacant apartment in the 400 block of West Washington Street last week.
Marquette Police Lieutenant Detective Greg Kinnunen says the break-in happened at about 8:30 last Friday night, and the suspects broke a window to get into the apartment.
Officers arrested 47-year-old Sean Badge of Grand Rapids, 39-year-old Melissa Harvey of Iron Mountain…along with 44-year-old Andrew Beaudry, 38-year-old Anthony Bargenquast, 48-year-old Peter Carlson, and 49-year-old Timothy Jesky, all of Marquette…on third degree home invasion charges.
Kinnunen tells the Radio Results Network that there is no information being released yet on what the suspects were allegedly doing inside the apartment last Friday night.

Bond for Jesky was set at 10 percent of $5,000. Bond was set at 10 percent of $10,000 for the other five suspects.
All the suspects are currently lodged at the Marquette County Jail.
Home Invasion 3rd Degree is a felony and punishable up to 5 years in prison.
