The Delta County Historical Society showed off its museum, the county archives, and the historic Sand Point Lighthouse during a Holiday Open House on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons in Escanaba.
Charles Linquist, the president of the historical society, was showing off the museum, and his wife was in the archives, answering questions about decades-old documents related to all corners of Delta County.
And Elizabeth Keller was greeting guests in the lighthouse, calling the open house “our gift to the community, and a thank you for everyone’s support all year long”. And there was plenty of cookies and music, as you can see and hear below:
