Area businesses and community organizations are signing up to sponsor free coffee for 120 students attending classes at Bay College West Campus on Monday mornings from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. CST.
The program is titled, “Bay College West Coffee Connection” and provides an opportunity for businesses and organizations to reach Bay College students.
“This program benefits our students and encourages them to spend time on our campus. Plus it benefits our community partners providing them with a venue to promote job openings, volunteer opportunities or even a sales pitch for a product or service,” said Laura Moloney, Director of Student Services at West Campus.
Five of the fifteen Mondays have been filled by the following businesses and organizations: Iron Mountain’s Downtown Development Authority, the Iron Mountain Road and Trail Half Marathon, CCI Systems, Systems Control, and Great Lakes Recovery Center.
Businesses and organizations are responsible for supplying coffee, cups and any additional condiments or snacks they would like. Bay College will supply the machine, the promotion and the space. Groups or businesses interested in signing up for this service may contact Gina Wollner at 906.302.3012 or gina.wollner@baycollege.edu.
