Rep. Beau LaFave visited the Iron Mountain State Police Department Saturday to take part in a ride-a-long, presenting them with a legislative tribute.
Sgt. Doug Cole accepted the tribute in recognition of law enforcement appreciation week. LaFave then joined Sgt. Cole on patrol throughout Dickinson County.
“The brave men and women of law enforcement have an extremely difficult and stressful job,” LaFave said. “They wake up every morning and risk their lives on the front lines to keep us safe from those with ill intentions. I cannot thank them enough for all they do for our communities.”
