A search of the Meth Lab location revealed additional components and tools for manufacturing Methamphetamine buried at the site.
The investigation into the remote Meth Lab was conducted the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team South in coordination with the Delta County Sheriff’s Department.
Delta County Prosecutor Brett Gardner praised UPSET and the Sheriff’s Department and said, “law enforcement agencies operating in Delta County are working hard to locate, and shut down those people who choose to pose a significant threat to our community by manufacturing and distributing illegal drugs in this county.” Gardner also encouraged the public to contact 911 if they see suspicious activity.
