Fire & Ice, Delta County Chamber of Commerce’s Midwinter Fundraiser Gala is fast approaching and the finishing details are being completed.
Held this year at the Terrace Bay Hotel, February 2nd, tickets are still available at $75.00 per person.
This year’s entertainment is by Peacemaker. They are a Tri-City Michigan band ready to woo the crowd with their spot-on rock covers. Peacemaker is made up of four veteran musicians who dedicate their sound to classic rock of the late 70’s and early 80’s. “They have such a great stage presence with a classic sound that will captivate our guests and keep them dancing and entertained,” said Nicole Smith, Chamber Communications Coordinator.
The kitchen of Freshwater Tavern will be preparing a plated dinner menu for the event that will include: Roasted Salmon Parmesan finished with lemon cream, bacon wrapped and broiled Tavern Top Sirloin Gorgonzola served on caramelized onion, and Classic Chicken Marsala topped with a tasty Marsala wine sauce. Each meal is served with a Freshwater Tavern House Salad, a side of bread, and two bottles of wine. The wine is sponsored by Anderson, Tackman, & Company, PLC, Bink’s Wine & Beverage, and Solutions Telecommunication.
The Terrace Bay Hotel has made accommodations for Fire & Ice guests offering a $99 overnight stay package for a Bayside standard 2 Queen room that includes chocolates, roses, champagne and continental breakfast. “We are grateful for the generosity of the Terrace to provide an overnight special to our guests,” said Vickie Micheau, Chamber Executive Director. “While this is our major fundraiser that helps us keep our dues affordable, we want it to be a fabulously fun evening for everyone.”
