Delta County has hired a new assistant airport manager.
Andrew Nummilien from Rock was chosen out of a field of 15 candidates, and was te choice of a three-member hiring committee. She is a Northern Michigan University graduate, and is currently enrolled at N-M-U in the public administration master’s program.
“We are extremely happy that Andrea is becoming a part of the Delta County family,” Airport Manager Jeff Sierpien said. “Her professional administrative background in aviation, and education in Marketing is going to move the Airport in a positive direction very quickly. The entire Hiring Committee rated her very high.”
Nummilien will start her position on Monday.
