The family home of Republican Lieutenant Governor nominee Lisa Posthumus Lyons today suffered significant fire damage and is likely to be a total loss as a result of a fire that started in the garage.
All of Lisa’s family members are accounted for and safe.
The Posthumus Lyons family is currently assessing the situation and determining where they will relocate temporarily.
Lisa and her husband Brad, and their children Easton, Charlie, Gage, and Fisher, thank everyone for their prayers and offers of assistance. They are very grateful for the firefighters, sheriffs, deputies, and first responders who rushed to the scene.
The home, located in Alto, Michigan, was Lisa and her siblings’ childhood home.
