A 63-year-old Chippewa County man is dead following a house fire Monday afternoon. The Chippewa County Sheriff says two fire departments responded to the blaze in Raber at about 4:15 Monday afternoon. The victim’s name was not immediately released and no cause has yet been determined. The State Police fire marshal is investigating.
Meanwhile, a fire in Cedarville destroyed two semi trailers, a work boat, decking and other materials on Monday. The fire broke out at Flotation Docking Systems. The cause is under investigation.
