EAPS is excited to announce the implementation of the Rave Panic Button system in a partnership with Delta County Central Dispatch. Rave Panic Button is an app that automatically connects 9-1-1, first responders and designated onsite personnel in the event of an incident on one of our campuses.
Through a simple five button interface, the app allows users to select the type of emergency – active shooter, police, fire, EMS or other – and 9-1-1 and first responders automatically receive critical data such as the caller’s exact location, floor plans, emergency exit locations, etc.
Testing for this new system will begin on Friday, April 5th at Jr/Sr High and will continue over the next few weeks at all of our schools. Parents should feel free to contact their child’s school directly with any questions.
