The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is investing about $358,000 for railroad crossing approach work at two locations on US-41 in L’Anse and Bovine in Baraga County.

The work will require single-lane closures. One alternating lane will be open via temporary traffic signals.
The project begins on Wednesday and should be done by July 19th.
M-DOT -contracted crews will be completing a $153,000 maintenance project to remove and replace a deteriorated culvert on M-26 1.6 miles west of the US-41/M-26 intersection in Copper Harbor in Keweenaw County.

M-26 will be closed 1.6 miles west of Copper Harbor. Through-traffic will be detoured via US-41. This project will begin next Monday and should be done by the end of next week.
