Marinette County Elderly Services received $1,890.00 from the Community Wide Fund held at the M&M Area Community Foundation. These funds will support our Healthy Smiles for Seniors Campaign.
These dollars will be used to purchase 200 oral hygiene kits containing products and information to improve the overall health of our homebound meal recipients. Many of our seniors have very low income and can’t afford to see a dentist on a regular basis. These kits will aid in our efforts to help seniors implement and maintain a healthy life style while promoting independence.
The M&M Area Community Foundation has been supporting our organization for several years with our Nutrition and Transportation Programs and with several special projects. We are grateful for their continued support.
