Dickinson County Healthcare System is seeking a federal loan of nearly 25-million dollars. The financially-troubled facility made the announcement Tuesday. Nearly ten million of the amount would pay off an existing loan at Fifth Third Bank. The rest of the money would be used to upgrade hospital equipment and information systems. A public hearing on the request is slated for Thursday, July 25, at 5 p.m. central time in the hospital’s Conference Room E. Read below for details.
