Governor Gretchen Whitmer announced the following appointments of two Upper Peninsula residents to a pair of state panels.
Early Childhood Investment Corporation Executive Committee
Raeanne L. Madison, of Sault Ste. Marie, is the community action program manager for the Inter-Tribal Council of Michigan. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Scientific and Technical Communication from Michigan Technological University and a Master of Public Health from Michigan State University. Ms. Madison is appointed to succeed Judith O’Neill, whose term expired July 22, 2019, for a term expiring July 22, 2023.
Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs
Darryl L. Brown, of St. Ignace, is the chairman of the Mackinac Bands of Chippewa and Ottawa Indians. Mr. Brown is appointed to succeed Aaron Dworkin, whose term expired September 1, 2017, for a term expiring September 1, 2020.
