Joshua Michael Caliguri-Pfiester, 27, of Gladstone was sentenced to 6 months in the Delta County Jail and 2 years probation following the entry of a guilty plea to Attempted Operating While Intoxicated, 3rd Offense, punishable by up 2 years imprisonment.
On March 3, 2019, a Delta County Sheriff’s Office, MI Deputy observed a vehicle being operated by Caliguri-Pfiester that had the wrong license plate on the vehicle. The Deputy performed a traffic stop, and observed Caliguri-Pfiester to be highly under the influence of a controlled substance. A blood test subsequently revealed that Caliguri-Pfiester had Bupenorphine (Suboxone), amphetamine, methamphetamine, Etizolam, and Gabapentin in his blood.
Delta County Sheriff was assisted by Gladstone Public Safety in their investigation.
