As the government determines the next steps for recovery during the global pandemic, Bay College faculty are taking thoughtful preparation heading into summer and fall semesters, keeping student success at the forefront of their course development. As of today, current and prospective students can expect the following:
· Summer 1 semester May 18 – June 26, 2020 will be delivered online. The college is contacting students affected by an online lab or online clinical during the Summer 1 session.
· Summer 2 June 29 – August 7, 2020 will be delivered online. The college is contacting students affected by an online lab or online clinical during the Summer 2 session.
· Fall 2020 semester will start as scheduled on August 31, 2020 with face-to-face courses and other deliveries as planned. Faculty are developing contingency plans should Bay College need to once again transition teaching and learning to a virtual learning format.
“With so much uncertainty, we are focusing our energy on being flexible and prepared so in any event we can quickly and thoughtfully continue to deliver a quality education. Our goal is to keep moving forward to serve our communities and students,” added Matt Barron, Vice President of Academic Affairs.
