On 6-4-20, at about 11:20pm, a Deputy with the Delta County Sheriff’s Office attempted to make a traffic stop on M-35 near Fuller Park. The vehicle fled and a pursuit was initiated N/B on M-35.
The vehicle struck a passenger car near 9th Lane and then jumped from the moving vehicle while it was entering the ditch. Once Deputies approached, the driver resisted and was taken into custody. The vehicle had been stolen out of Appleton WI and the 23 year old WI man was found to be in possession of Methamphetamine.
The man was medically cleared and lodged at the Delta County Correctional Facility for possession of a stolen vehicle, flee and elude, possession of a dangerous weapon, resist and obstruct, possession of Methamphetamine and operating without a license. Bond was set at $275,000. The occupants of the vehicle that was struck was uninjured.
