The Escanaba Municipal Beach will be opening for the season on Thursday, June 18th. Hours will be 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. seven days a week with certified lifeguards.
The City of Escanaba Recreation Department realizes the loss of the sand beach over the last couple of years. However, the berm is extremely essential in maintaining what sand area we currently have. The berm is in place to prevent further erosion of the beach area.
