A new survey is being conducted by Upper Peninsula economic development organizations. With the hope of receiving feedback from employers and employees located across the region, this survey is designed to measure the economic impact and better understand the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on the business community.
All responses are confidential and results will only be reported in aggregate. This survey will help U.P. economic developers identify current challenges on the road to recovery and share compiled data with local, state and federal policy makers to advocate for our communities.
“We are counting on our U.P. businesses to help us collect this data that will assist us in developing tools and resources of value as we continue down the road of recovery. It is a good time to get another snapshot of where are businesses are and what challenges they are facing.” said Amy Clickner, CEO of the LSCP.
As an incentive to participate, those who complete the survey will be entered to a $100 gift card drawing. The survey deadline is Friday, July 17, 2020 at 5:00 PM
“While we understand the small business community may be suffering from survey fatigue, the information that these surveys provide is really helpful in a number of respects, including the advocacy we take with our economic development partners across the U.P. to our local, state and federal policy makers” stated Marty Fittante, CEO, InvestUP. “So, while we are mindful of the imposition and the demands on the time of owners and executives, the data that comes with that quick investment of time does pay dividends.”
