LMAS District Health Department has been informed that four travelers with confirmed COVID-19 visited Mackinac County. One group of three during the dates of July 2 through July 6, 2020. An additional individual on July 11th.
Possible exposure sites are listed below.
July 2-6, 2020 (group of 3):
• KOA Campground – St. Ignace
• Bridgeview Diner in Mackinaw City, July 6th. Between 1pm and 4pm. Ate outside.
July 11, 2020 (1 individual):
• Shepler’s Ferry from Mackinaw City to Mackinac Island 3pm. Returned on
Shepler’s at 8pm.
If you were present at any of these locations during the dates and times noted, please monitor for symptoms and contact your local health department. For Mackinac County residents, please call 906-643-1100. Cheboygan County residents, please call 231-627-8850. Emmet County residents contact 800-432-4121. If you do not live in those three counties, but believe you were in any of the above locations at the date/time indicated, please contact your local public health department.
LMAS District Health Department reminds everyone that COVID-19 is present in our communities and it is vital that you continue to wear cloth face coverings when in large gatherings indoors and outdoors, wash your hands, maintain at least six feet of distance from those not in your household, and stay home if you don’t feel well.
