There’s been a fatal motorcycle crash in Schoolcraft County.
Michigan State Police say it happened on State Road near M-94 in Hiawatha Township, just outside of Manistique, at about 9:00 Saturday night.
Troopers say 52-year-old Markie Sumter of Manistique lost control of his bike, left the road, and hit a tree. He died at the scene. Troopers say alcohol and speed are believed to be factors in the crash.
