Bay College West Campus and Northern Initiatives – MMTC are set to host a distance learning “Applied Project Management” training starting Wednesday, October 7 through December 16, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. CT. This “Applied Project Management” program runs ten weeks and satisfies the educational requirements to sit for project management certification.
Students will learn a disciplined approach to project management that can greatly reduce the pains of decreasing customer satisfaction, project cost overruns, and schedule and deployment delays. Following the Project Management Book of Knowledge, this program is an active learning-based teaching model where participants gain tools and techniques for planning, executing, and monitoring strategic initiatives. Participants will apply their learning in real-time by working on current organizational projects. The cost is $2,350.00 and a minimum of six individuals must be met by September 10, 2020 in order to move forward with the training.
Karen Goike of Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center will lead this training. Goike is the Senior Business Advisor with over 25 years of experience in project management and business analysis who is a certified project management professional and a certified LEAN Office Champion.
