Chippewa County says that 517 of the 524 tests done at a mass testing event last weekend in Sault Ste. Marie have come back negative.
Health department staff have followed up with case investigation and contact tracing with the seven positive cases….and they are being monitored.
No exposure sites have been reported because contact tracing has reached all of the positive cases’ contacts.
They are planning more testing events in the near future.
