An ORV rider was hurt late Saturday night in an accident in Delta County.
Michigan State Police say it happened at about 10:30 at night on the Dutch Mill Bridge area on “S-15 Road” in Masonville Township.
Troopers say the driver hit a curve too quickly and crashed into the bridge. He was thrown from his bike and landed on several rocks…and had a severe neck injury as a result.
Troopers say he was not wearing a helmet, and alcohol is believed to have been a factor. His name was not released. The driver was being treated at U-P Health System in Marquette for his injuries.
