The City of Escanaba is looking ahead to another season of water system improvements, which will again affect traffic in neighborhoods throughout the community.
Informational meetings will be held on the first Wednesday of every month at City Hall, including this Wednesday (February 4) at 6:00 p.m. City Staff and C2AE Engineering Staff will be providing information and be available for questions regarding projects.
February’s meeting will focus on the outlined work zones posted below:

o Large area south of 16th Ave S to the intersection of Lakeshore Drive & M-35
o Large area south of 8th Ave S & west of SLR/ M-35
o Ludington Street between 6th Street & South Lincoln Road

o Washington Ave From North Lincoln Road to Round-a-bout

City-Wide Sanitary Sewer Main Replacement (Some of these may be completed or scheduled for lining, not replacement)

o Alley Between 500 & 600 Blocks of S 15th & 16th Street
o Half block West and East on 6th Ave S from S 20th Street
o Alley Between 1100 & 1200 Blocks of S 16th & 17th Street

Ludington Street Sanitary Sewer Main replacement
o Full Street Scape Reconstruction on Ludington from 6th to 9th Street. A special Ludington Street (Stake Holders) meeting will be scheduled once we have more information to share. Topics we will cover in more detail:
