The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is investing about $3.4 million to resurface approximately 10.5 miles of US-2 from west of the US-2/US-41 intersection in the village of Powers to west of the Dickinson/Menominee county line.
The project will include asphalt base crushing, shaping and resurfacing; joint repairs; paver placed surface seal and pavement markings. This project includes a five-year materials and workmanship pavement warranty and a three-year pavement performance warranty. Work is scheduled to begin on May 11 and continue through August.
Motorists should expect single-lane closures with traffic regulators.
