The Mackinac Island Community Foundation trustees and staff have announced grant decisions totaling $134,482.37 supporting projects and programs on Mackinac Island.
They are funding 17 grants this season, nine of which are previously funded programs.
This grant cycle had a particular focus on mental well-being for islanders and island
workers. The continuation of the Island Therapist program is highly anticipated after its renowned success last year.
Programs that offer new experiences for island youth and safe spaces for employees are central to promoting wellness and a vibrant island life.
