On 07-16-2026 at approximately 2038 hours Chocolay Township Police was called to assist with a stranded motorist.
The officer arrived on scene to find that the driver was a missing person, Gary Eicher, from Green Bay WI.
The officer contacted authorities from Wisconsin and made them aware. Mr. Eicher was transported to UPHS for care, awaiting reunification with his family. Chocolay Township Police would like to thank the passerby that stopped to check on Mr. Eicher and then called 911 to report his situation.
Chocolay Township Police were assisted on scene by UPHS Marquette EMS and Goodwins Towning.
