The Menominee Police Department participates in the Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force by assigning an affiliate.
Menominee Police Department is announcing the arrest of two Menominee men by the task force.
Allen Kerby, 45, of Menominee was arrested for aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material and using a computer to commit a crime. Kerby is currently on the Michigan Sex Offender Registry for the offenses of Criminal Sexual Conduct 1st Degree (Person Under 13) and Criminal Sexual Conduct 2nd Degree (Person Under 13) from a past incident in which he was incarcerated in prison for a number of years.
This investigation was initiated by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the ICAC Task Force when it was learned that Kerby may be in possession of illicit content on the internet. A search warrant was executed on his residence, and digital evidence was seized.
Following the execution of the search warrant Kerby was arrested. Kerby was charged with two counts of child sexually abusive material – aggravated possession and two counts of using a computer to commit a crime. He was arraigned in the 95A Judicial District Court of Menominee County on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 and his bond was set at $500,000.00.
Alexander Aikman, 28, of Menominee was arrested for aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material and using a computer to commit a crime.
This investigation was initiated by the NCMEC and the ICAC Task Force when it was learned that Aikman may be in possession of illicit content on the internet. A search warrant was executed on his residence, and digital evidence was seized.
Following the execution of the search warrant Aikman was arrested. Aikman was charged with seven counts of child sexually abusive material – aggravated possession and seven counts of using a computer to commit a crime. He was arraigned in the 95A Judicial District Court of Menominee County on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 and his bond was set at $250,000.00.
