A change starting Wednesday in downtown Escanaba as the city nears the end of its massive Ludington Street project.
They are re-opening 14th Street as a road crossing Ludington…and closing 10th Street there as the paving continues.
The city is also reminding people to stay off of the newly-paved stretch of Ludington Street until the city re-opens it.
The project, which began on April 22, is expected to wrap up by the end of the month. It included replacing the water system underneath the street, and now, new paving.
