Escanaba Receives Grant For Bike Maintenance Station

The City of Escanaba Recreation Department is glad to announce the recent awards of the Hannahville 2% Grant Funds.

Funds will be used to purchase a bike maintenance station in Ludington Park, continued support of the Catherine Bonifas Civic Center After School Program and Rock the Dock 2021, along with funds to help with the reconstruction of the Ludington Park Tennis Courts.

Recreation Director, Kim Peterson stated, “The continued support of the Hannahville Indian Community to the City of Escanaba is extremely appreciated. These funds truly make a difference to the continuation of the Recreation Department’s programs to youth in the community and help with the maintenance of various recreational facilities.”
