On 11/29/2020 at approximately 1:00pm Deputies responded to M-35 in Ford River for an accident involving a Semi and a Bicyclist. A 12 year old boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
This accident remains under investigation.
Sheriff Deputies were assisted by The Michigan State Police, Ford River Volunteer Fire, Michigan DNR, Rampart EMS, Delta County Central Dispatch and the Delta County Victim Services Unit.
