The Marine Corps of Manistique is sponsoring a Toy Drive on Saturday, December 12th (10am -2pm) – drop off a toy and put a smile on a Childs face Christmas Morning.
The Toy Drive will be conducted at Lakeshore BP (next to Burger King) here in Manistique. People who wish to give can remain in their vehicles, just hand off and go.
Financial hardships from COVID19, illnesses, the loss of a job put families in a bind.
Buying Christmas gifts for their children is low on the list of necessities, and the children suffer, through no fault of their own.
It’s almost unimaginable, the thought of a child waking up on Christmas morning without a gift from Santa.
