The Marquette County Health Department said Tuesday that the first COVID-19 vaccine should start arriving here in the Upper Peninsula next week.
As with the downstate areas that got the first shipment this week…health care professionals will get the first doses when they arrive next week. That will be followed by EMS personnel and nursing home patients and staff.
Walgreens and CVS will be in charge of that part of the distribution. Some does will also be allocated to Indian Health Services to be distributed to Native American communities in the U.P.
