The Marquette County Health Department gave an update Wednesday on the vaccinations going on in the county’s elderly population. Officials say there were 845 vaccine appointments made for people aged 65 and over Wednesday morning. There were technical difficulties with the on-line system, but they were fixed quickly, and 517 appointments were completed with that method. The other 328 appointments were taken care of via telephone.
There were also vaccinations given to some essential workers on Wednesday. They hope to have another update on Friday for next week’s vaccinations, based on how much vaccine is allocated to Marquette County.
