Helen Newberry Joy Hospital says the response from the community about the COVID vaccine has been “phenomenal”.
The hospital says that all of the people who left messages in the voicemail box…or who signed up on-line…will get a response soon, and they ARE on the list. They have not yet started calling for appointments because they don’t have enough vaccine right now.

The response we have received from community members interested in receiving the COVID-19 vaccine has been phenomenal.
We want to reassure those who have left messages on our voicemail box or signed up online that you are on our list, and please be patient for a return call. We have not yet started calling for appointments as we are waiting for additional vaccine supply before confirming dates for our appointment-only vaccine clinics.
We understand you are anxious to receive the vaccine, and we are working with the state to ensure you receive the vaccine as quickly as possible. In the meantime, please continue to wear a clean cloth face covering that fully covers your mouth and nose, stay home when you don’t feel well, and wash your hands.
