The Kids Fishing Day Team announced today that Kids’ Fishing Day at Camp 7 Lake Campground has been cancelled for 2021, due to the Covid19 pandemic.
Over 7400 youngsters have participated in Kids’ Fishing Day during it’s 28 year history and the team is looking forward to hosting the event once again in June 2022, during Michigan’s Free Fishing Weekend.
The Kids’ Fishing Day team is grateful to all of those who have donated fishing gear or money toward the event and will use those funds and gear for next year’s event. The KFD team asks everyone to stay safe in the meantime, so that together we can all look forward to next year’s Kids’ Fishing Day!
